  • Please initial by each policy or procedure below to indicate your understanding and agreement.

  • Annual Membership/Registration: At initial enrollment, a non-refundable fee of $40 per student, discounted to $15 for 2nd student, with a $55.00 max per family is due. Each April during our annual membership/registration a non-refundable renewal fee of $35 per student, discounted to $15 for 2nd student, with a $50 max per family is due and is automatically charged on the 1st. I hereby authorize the school to electronically debit my account yearly for registration.

  • Payment of Tuition and Fees: A non-refundable tuition is paid by pre-authorized automatic bank account debit or automatic credit card payment (MasterCard or Visa). Tuition will be debited from your account on the 1st day of each month and it is considered late after the 1st. Each September, the student’s monthly tuition may change slightly (increase or decrease), depending on how many lessons (more or less) the student has for the following school calendar (September 1st through August 31st of the following year). This change will automatically be reflected in the monthly tuition in the following semester or through the next school year starting in September.
  • NSF & Late Payments: I hereby authorize the school to electronically debit my bank account, or credit card, for the amount of $25.00 for any NSF of auto debit or credit transaction and $25.00 additionally for late fee ($50.00 total) if tuition is paid after the 1st day of each month. The school also reserves the right to stop a student from taking lessons at any time if payment is not received by the due date.

  • Withdrawal Policy: A 30-day notice must be provided to discontinue private lessons. Withdrawal must be done in person using a School Withdraw Form at the Front Desk, and is not accepted by email, by mail, or with the teacher. The School reserves the right to automatically debit all remaining tuition and/or fees at the time of notice. All automatic bank debiting or credit card charges will only stop after receiving a completed withdraw form and after all tuition and fees are fully paid. The withdrawal form must be signed within 7 days of any non-written notification. Otherwise, the 30-day notice does not begin until the paperwork is signed. The School may terminate the students’ enrollment without notice.

  • Student Absence/Rescheduled Lessons:

    • Student absence notifications must be provided to the front desk at least 24 hours in advance of regularly scheduled lesson time
    • Students taking private lessons are allowed ONE RESCHEDULE PER MONTH, if the school receives proper notification of student absence (at least 24 hours in advance of regular lesson time)
    • At the time of student absence notification, the lesson should be rescheduled within 7 days whenever possible; rescheduled lessons are not guaranteed and will be scheduled based on the teacher’s availability. Our teacher’s schedules are often completely full and can change from week to week.
    • Missed lessons cannot be built up and taken or rescheduled at later dates.
    • Missed lessons cannot carry over until the next semester.
    • A No-Show (no advance notification of absence) is considered a forfeited lesson with no reschedule, refund or credit possibilities.
    • No refunds, or tuition credit are given for missed lessons OR for missed Rescheduled Lessons.
    • No Reschedules will be given for a Rescheduled lesson that is not attended.
  • Lessons & Classes: The school lessons are year-round on an ongoing basis (except for scheduled holidays or breaks.) All private lessons are once a week at a regularly scheduled time and are of at least 30 minutes. The School reserves the right to choose a teacher and appropriate schedule for lessons at any time
  • Summer Lessons/Time Off: We teach lessons through the summer, and we recommend that students take a maximum break of 4 weeks in the summer. Students may take 3 months off during the summer without withdrawing from lessons if the Annual Membership/Registration fee has been fulfilled. The student’s lesson time will also be reserved. The student will pay for the month off in advance which will be credited to month of return. (Example: Student will take June off and return in July. Tuition will be automatically debited on June 1st and credited to July). **We can consider additional time off requests during the year on a case by case basis, and with as much notice as possible-please see the front desk for details and these time off policies.
  • Recitals: We provide 2 professional recitals per year, usually in June and December. Recitals are important opportunities for students to perform. All students are highly encouraged to participate in the recitals as we believe it provides for a wholesome music education. The non-refundable recital fee is $35.00/student and is automatically debited on May 1st and December 1st.  If we do not receive notice of non-participation prior to May 1st or December 1st the recital fee will be scheduled.
  • Transfer/Advancing Perk: A student is permitted to change teachers, upgrade a class to an hour lesson, to enroll in an additional class, or change instruments, at any time throughout the year without any additional transfer fees.

  • Substitutions: The school reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is unable to teach.

  • Family Referrals: An enrolled student receives ONE FREE LESSON per enrolled person when they refer someone and that someone enrolls in lessons after their New Student Special. School is not responsible for any student or any instruments before, during or after class. Parents of children 3-18 years old are encouraged to stay in the school during their lessons.  This is especially the case for parents of students aged 3-5 years old.

  • Extreme Weather and School Closings: In case of inclement weather, the school will make a decision whether it will be open. A message will be posted on the school’s website, Facebook page, voicemail, and on the front door (when possible).  Make up lessons for private lessons will be given for Extreme Weather and are scheduled directly with the front desk. It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to be aware of all school activities such as recitals and dates the school is open or closed as well as the fee deadlines. The school will post all notices on the “News Board” in the reception area when possible.
